This place has really nice rooms and bathrooms, the place is always super clean. And I like the way the breakfast is done: you select what you want from the list, and they will prepare it the evening before especially for you. So you don't have to worry about being too early for breakfast, if you have to go to work.
The staff was also super friendly and helpful.
(They even waited especially for us despite our late arrival)

Turnhout is not the most obvious place to visit in Belgium, but it still has a lot offer: a UNESCO World Heritage Beguinage, a beautiful castle, some interesting museums and an extremely pleasant atmosphere. It's not up there with some of the finest places in Belgium such as Bruges, Antwerp, Ghent, Mechelen etc but a very pleasant place nevertheless. I loved it.JohnUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

was in Turnhout for a wedding party. I am living in Prague (CZ) and the first thing I am doing when coming back to Belgium: I am looking for a real "Frietekot". Hotel was perfect and I was walking to the city center in max 20 minutes. I found my "frietekot" on the nice marketplace. What i was a little surprised on was the mentality (behavior) of young peoples. Times are changing, I know. I felt some parts of my walk UN-SAFE.

Nice clean city, the people are helpful and extremely friendly. Apart from Best Western Plus hotel we ate at Reggae Geel. Easy to travel around Turnhout as the fare is 3 Euros and you don’t pay again for an hour no matter how many buses or trans you travel on. Previously there was a toaster available for breakfast, need to bring this back. Breakfast, in my opinion, is expensive for what you get. However, on our first morning the receptionists went out of their way to provide two bags of breakfast items, even though it was our fault for not noticing that breakfast finished earlier in the week. Need to bring back vending machine.
